Norman E. Hill, FSA, MAAA, CPA, nhill@noralyn.com, President of NoraLyn is a full time business, risk management and actuarial consultant for life and health insurance organizations. He brings executive experience with large and small insurers. He is a frequent speaker and facilitator for the life and health insurance industry. He is well known for his articles on a broad range of insurance industry issues.

Norm’s expertise includes strategic risk management, financial, and regulatory planning, along with a wide variety of special projects. His experience covers both large and small insurers. He has been a partner with 2 of the Big 4 accounting firms, as well as Chief Actuary and CFO of a large insurance holding company, and Executive V.P. and Chief Actuary for a smaller insurance company.

Norm always strives to relate probabilities to reality, and to communicate his views on complex subjects in an articulate manner.

Norm is currently active in several industry and actuarial committees as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Alliance of Life Companies.

Norm is available for special projects including short term senior staff positions, directorships or consulting assignments.

Norm also acts as an editor for literary projects that he finds interesting.

Norm has been married to Maralyn since 1990 and enjoys working with her.
